Note for the 2025-2026 School Year: 6th-8th Grades
Any 6th-8th grade students who are two or more grade levels behind in Math, based on the most recent iReady diagnostic may be required to take Math Strategies, an additional class for daily intervention with the goal of ensuring the student is on grade level at the end of the current school year.
6th-8th grade students may be required to take Math Strategies as an elective if they are two or more grade levels behind on the most recent iReady diagnostic. If any student meets proficiency during the course of the school year based on the current iReady diagnostic, they are allowed to drop Math Strategies for a different elective. Teachers will file a schedule change request on behalf of the student.
Students who have an IEP to address Math or Reading goals are not required to take Math or Read Strategies. Students will not be scheduled for BOTH Math and Reading Strategies at the same time.
