Note for the 2023-2024 School Year
Any 6th-8th grade students who are two or more grade levels behind in Math or Reading based on the most recent iReady diagnostic will be required to take Math or Read 180, an additional class for daily intervention with the goal of ensuring the student is on grade level at the end of the current school year. 6th/7th grade Math 180 and 6th-8th grade Read 180 are based on a limited availability. 8th grade students are required to take Math 180 as an elective if they are two or more grade levels behind on the most recent iReady diagnostic. If any student meets proficiency during the course of the school year based on the current iReady diagnostic, they are allowed to drop Math or Read 180 for a different elective. Teachers will file a schedule change request on behalf of the student. Students who have an IEP to address Math or Reading goals are not required to take Math or Read180. Students will not be scheduled for BOTH Math 180 and Read 180 at the same time.
